All academic programs are designed to meet the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards and the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts and Mathematics.  Our professional staff members work closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure that students’ needs are fully met.  All students enrolled in our academic programs who are eligible for the NJASK/HSPA/AHSA complete the appropriate assessment under our supervision.

Students may be accepted into SCESC Educational Programs any time during the school year. The prospective student must be recommended by their sending district. An admission application will be completed and submitted by the student’s guidance counselor or child study team for consideration. Copies of the following are also required: Transcripts, Report Cards, Test Scores, Medical Forms, I.E.P (if applicable). Other outside agencies may refer candidates for admission, but this must be done through the candidate's district.  Once all documents have been submitted to the SCESC, an interview (intake) of the student will be held by the educational programs.
